I stumbled across these today, only a couple miles from my home. A few scattered car parts that don't look like they belong together, and a couple of very old gas pumps. Can anyone identify what vehicles they might belong to? There's an emblem on the (pickup?) hood, and the seat looks distinctly Mustang or Camaro-ish.

Nah, they were really rusty and rotten. But I think I might go back with a flathead screwdriver and take the "Contains Lead" sign off the pump body. That would be a cool conversation piece.

That is a Plymouth emblem on the hood.

That emblem is Plymouth so I doubt it's a pick-up.

Thanks! Any idea when Plymouth used that logo? It was a very wide and flat hood, so I'd guess it was from some '70s land barge.

I'm gonna say 68 Fury or something like it.

It's a rocket logo, related somehow to the apollo space program, so I'd say mid-60s. It's supposed to resemble both a rocket from the side, and the Mayflower from the front.

Most Chrysler vehicles had wide, flat hoods well before the 70s, since they almost all are designed to comfortably fit 400ci + engines, so even their coupes have massive hoods.

Kinja'd!!!

It looks to be a Plymouth badge from the late '60s. Perhaps a Fury, Belvedere, or a Satellite.

That pump looks to be about 1970's.

Goddamn that gas pump that's on it's side would make an awesome shelf. Too bad I don't live close enough to you...I'd love to see if you could roll it over and see how good shape it's in, and how much touching up it would need. I wouldn't even care if you kept the "Contains Lead" sign off...but it's probably way too heavy, and I certainly have no space for it right now. Dammit.

Looks like the mechanical counter bit at the top might be okay. That'd be a decent piece too!

'68 Plymouth Fury (or close).

Always thought that design looked like a casket. Yikes.

These ornaments are going for around $40 on ebay btw.

Any idea how it might be removed? I think I might go back and try to get it if it's worth something.

One threaded post through the sheet metal. Just use pliers or socket wrench to remove the nut, it should pop right off. : )

Thanks much! Now I just hope there aren't any snakes hanging out under that hood...
